Shogun

Japan is splintered apart by the ambitions of rival families vying for control of the provinces. In order for peace to return, a strong ruler must establish his rule over all Japan. Take on the role of a Japanese daimyo trying to gain control over the clans in Shogun, a board game of strategic conflict. Each turn, you must plan your actions for the current season, giving orders to the various provinces under your control. You will raise armies, tax the provinces for rice and money, put down revolts, and erect castles, towns, and theaters. Inevitably, your armies will clash in battles, which are resolved by the innovative Battle Tower. Control the provinces and build your empire to gain the title of shogun!
