High Treason!

It is July 1885 and in the five fateful days of his trial for high treason, Louis Riel experiences his fate. The government has changed the venue to their advantage and appointed the best lawyers to settle the trial quickly and safely. But Louis Riel`s defense team portrays him as insane to get him acquitted. High Treason! The Trial of Louis Riel is a card-driven 2-player game. One player takes the role of the prosecution and the other player takes the role of defense. Both are trying to influence the tragic fate of the defendant over the whole trial. They select the jury, question witnesses, sway their thinking, and make closing arguments that decide the fate of not only one man, but also of Canada.
